Job Description:

We are hiring a General laborer/Spotter to assist skilled people in performing their tasks. In order to be considered for this job you must be physically fit; hardworking; and able to follow instructions rapidly and proficiently. You may be required to work on different job sites with different crews doing a variety of jobs. The Spotting portion includes monitoring the safety of forklift drivers on sites.

Responsibilities:

• Clean job sites, unpack & organize material.
• Lay pipe for underground conduit runs.
• Act as the forklift spotter.
• Direct and control traffic.
• Assist the drivers/operators when they do not have full view of the working area and need someone to direct them.
• Learn and practice all safety procedures and safety zones for the equipment being used at the Industrial sites.

Essential Qualifications:

• Must pass on the spot drug test and background check.
• Must have reliable transportation and a clean driving record.
• Must possess proper PPE such as safety vest, safety glasses, hard hat, gloves, and work boots.
• Must have own power and hand tools.

Physical Requirements:

• Stand; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, reach; crouch or crawl in awkward positions and heights.
• Must be able to safely lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Tolerate severe hot and cold environments.
